Today was the first time in a long while that I felt energetic enough for a run. Oh how much I enjoyed that! I walked/ran through Prater, and found paths that I hadn’t been on before. I also got lost a bit 🙂 I saw deer, curious and cautiously looking at me. And I saw… Continue reading Powerful teeth!
I spent the last couple of days at the Silent Mountain Retreat, a meditation retreat led by Denis Robberechts at the Rohrauerhaus, a mountain hut near Spital am Pyhrn, at the border between Upper Austria and Styria. I had done one retreat with Denis before, the Walking in Snow Retreat. I like Denis’ style a… Continue reading Retreat in the Mountains

One thing that I’ve had on my bucket list for a while is to hike up to the top of Werfener Hochthron. It is the rightmost peak of the Tennengebirge mountain range, as seen from my childhood home in Werfen/Salzburg. I’ve spent hours a a kid sitting on the warm radiator and looking out the… Continue reading Above the Clouds
I am spending the weekend at a farm/farm sanctuary. This morning I went for a short run to explore the area. I found trails!
Yesterday I was invited to TIAN, apparently one of only four Michelin star vegetarian restaurants worldwide. Just looking at the plates was amazing, like going to an art museum. All was vegan and gluten free.
